Alain HENRIOTSince last autumn, world economy is in a global slump. Most recent data show a sharp contraction in the activity at the end of 2008, followed by an additional downward adjustment in the first months of 2009., even if scattered information can sometimes signal a stabilisation of the activity at a low level.
